Satan's gulch is a weird western setting I was thinking about, sort of like "Deadlands" but not so over-the-top. This is an unfinished project, mostly at the note-taking and brainstorming stage.

7 cities of cibola: source of the "sunnyvale effect" that obscures SG. This is "where the Anasazi went". Infernal forces have used it to cover their activities.
Steampunk elements: angels could not directly intervene
without betraying their presence. they inspired some local eccentrics to invent
advanced technolgy to counter infernal influences, To their horror, the technology
was used for weaponry! ever since then, angels have
erred on the side of caution when intrvening, and have concealed their true
powers and identities.

Cibolans currently believe that the White Man brings the destruction of the fourth world, and that they are destined to be there at the creation of the new one as long as they keep the ways of their ancestors.
Other groups know about the situation. The Illuminati are known to be intervening, but on which side (if either)? The Knights Templar are also involved.
